The annual Two Heads summit took place in the edgy Mitte district of Berlin, with the impressive Münzsalon our head quarters for the last week of October. Guest speaker Harald Welzer, director of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Memory Research in Essen delivered his perspective on transformation, centered on the social and cultural impact of change in design. This was followed by a free flowing discussion with Two Heads members contributing their culturally diverse thoughts and opinions on how design can influence change.

Collage-Shot-OneA workshop was also undertaken on the Cradle to Cradle techniques, presented by Anja Heinemann and Ines Góebel, design consultants from EPEA. An intriguing look at a biomimetic approach to design, the workshop inspired a spirited brainstorming discussion, aimed at reconciling these innovative insights into the way forward for a design delivered sustainable future.

Cradle-to-CradleOverall the trip was a great opportunity for all members of Two Heads to come together and learn, sharing their valuable cultural knowledge on the ever changing world of design.

Here is a snapshot of our experience.
